4on4 Hockey League

4on4 Youth Hockey League will post any changes to scheduling changes on this website, please insure you visit the site prior to each league game to for such updates.  

Communication to participants will also be sent via email, please insure that your registration includes all updated contact information.

Monday League:  ( AA, AAA, A ) Westwood Arena

             1. All players must be pre registered and paid in full  to play in the League.

2. No replacement players  allowed. Teams who do, will result in a default and may face disqualification and/or ejection from league.

3. A team must have a minimum of 5 players and1 goalie dressed or the game will be deemed a default. A player can sub in for a player that is injured (that can't play for the rest of the summer.) Must be approved by convenor.

4. No fighting! Fighting will not be tolerated. Any instigator or major penalty for fighting will be cause for ejection from PPI 4on4 Hockey League. If a player is deemed to defending himself in a fight, then at the discretion of the referee, that player will not be suspended for the rest of the summer. 1 game suspension will apply.

5. Game ejection for 3 stick or 4 minor penalties in one game.

6. Penalty shot for minor penalties.Major penalties will result in 2 penalty shots. (The player that was interfered with must take the penalty shot.) For coincidenal penalties: 2 different players from the ice surface will take the penalty shot at the same time.  No chase.

7. Icing will only be called in the last 5 minutes of the game with a two goal differential.

8. 3 minute sudden victory overtime for tied games.

9. No goalie rule: If a team has no goalie, the opposing team must cross the defending teams blue line to score. Players are not allowed to stand in the goal crease.

10. All games are supervised by a League Convenor.

11. GTHL Rules plus PPI 4on4 League rules applied and enforced.

12. Weekly updated statistics posted on web site and at Westwood Arena.

13. 2 Referees for all games.

14. Players must wear full CAHA approved equipment at all times.

15. Protests must be submitted within 48hrs of the game.

16. PPI 4on4 Hockey League reserves the right to move players to reflect caliber requirements at its own discretion and without any written or prior notice to the participant.

17. Games will be: 12-12-12min. stop time periods.

18. Clock will run with a 5 goal spread with 10min. to go or less. Clock will stop when the goal differential becomes 3 or less.
